Lyle Keith Stevenson went home to be with the Lord Saturday, March 4 at the Jean Waddle Hospice Care Center surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on March 14, 1940 in Delmar, KY, to the late Tye and Hattie Burton Stevenson. Lyle was a loving and devoted husband, father, and Papa. He was a member of Mill Springs Fellowship Church in Nancy. Lyle was a farmer and traded cattle. He and his son Rodney operated Stevenson Wrecking and Auto Sales for 15 years.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years; Nettie Stevenson; their son, Rodney (and Cindy) Stevenson of Nancy; a granddaughter, Erica (and Mike) Nalle of Nancy; four great-grandchildren, Adam, Abby, Josie, and Kailyn Nalle; five brothers, Charles Dewitt (and Mary Beth) Stevenson of Nancy, Samuel Leonard (and Bonnie) Stevenson of Nancy, Harold Tye (and Rhoda Jane) Stevenson of Clarksville, TN, Stanley Reid (and Linda) Stevenson of Nancy, and Leland H. (and Nancy) Stevenson of Nancy; a sister Doris Rose (and Lowell) Merrick of Nancy.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Zella May Rogers.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 11:00am until 2:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Rogers and Bro. Everett Rogers officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Nancy, KY.

The family request expressions of sympathy be made to the Mill Springs Fellowship Church or Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
