Linville Harrison Baker, age 90, of Somerset, departed this life on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Somerset Nursing and Rehab.
Linville was born on September 3, 1926, in the Delmer Community of Pulaski County, to the late Alonzo and Ruth Golden Burton. He was a member of New Life Church in Ferguson, KY.
He is survived by three sons, Irvin “Buddy” Alonzo Baker, Michael A. (and Akeya) Baker, and Donnie R. (and Betty) Thompson; a daughter, Teresa (and Jeff) Mullins; ten grandchildren, Sandra (and Daniel) Blevins, Susan Hornback, Rosa E. Baker, Steven Stephens, Jason Stephens, Chad Stephens, Micah Baker, Harrison Baker, Jennifer Hiser, and Heather McCarol; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Rosa Estean Branscum, whom he married in 1947; his second wife, Flora McQueary, whom he married in 1963; seven brothers, Lloyd W. Baker, Thomas Baker, Benjamin “Ben” Harrison Baker, Clayton “Clate” Baker, David G. Folsom Baker, Banual Burton, Arnold Burton; six sisters, Nona Vickie Dalton, Lora Burton, Martha Catherine Burton Sears, Luretha Burton, Julia L. Burton, and Stella Etta Burton; and one granddaughter, Nikola Stephens.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 10:00am until 12:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 12:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
